2013 TL Accessory Power Sockets Won't Charge iPhone
Hello,
I was attempting to charge my iPhone 4S using this product (http://www.powergenbatt.com/PowerGen...&searchSize=12). This product has a blue LED that would turn on when plugged into any vehicle DC socket. When I plugged the PowerGen charger into either of the TL's accessory power sockets, which are located at the front and under the arm rest, the blue LED turns on, but when I plug the USB cable into my iPhone, the iPhone won't charge. The charger is rated at 12 - 24V, 12W, and iPhone charge draws a maximum of 1 ampere, which is well under the "12 volt DC accessories that are rated 120 watts or less (10 amps)" as outlined in the manual.
The charger worked very well when plugged into a 2007 Nissan Altima and a 2003 Toyota Camry.
I don't know a whole lot about vehicle electronics and mechanics, but I don't think it would be a busted fuse, right? Or else the blue LED on the charger won't turn on. Any other possibilities that could be causing this issue?
The iPhone charges fine with the supplied USB adapter cable that is in the vehicle.
Thanks.
