Is it true that only the dealer can do this? I called an auto lock smith and they actually quoted me $10 higher than the dealer price of $120. They prefaced it with, "if they can program it".

I lost my main (1) key fob and need a replacement. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

 

you can only go to dealer to get it programmed.

If so, that's a very very very good price IMO

No. You can program it yourself if you have the HDS tool.

 

$120 for programming alone. About $130 for the remote w/o the key.
