Does anyone have any tips for replacing the center/front speaker on a 2009 TL w/tech. The service manual shows removing the center vent bezel as well as the Nav display. Is the removal of the Nav display necessary?

actually just replaced mine about a month ago. it starting making a crackling sound. All i did was pry out the plastic oval speaker grill with a screwdriver, then used a 90 degree screwdriver to undo the 2 screws that hold the speaker to the speaker grill. don't drop the screws because they will be lost forever. good luck.
