Just saw this and thought it might be interesting to for others, i'm still very much "on the fence" about the 09 and i dunno, seeing this, it really doesn't help...I saw the photochops from some other folks in here and yeah some look nice, but IMO, Acura needs to "rethink" this whole "Keen Edge Dynamic" design thing because its coming off more like the bastard son of a Camry and the Caddy CTS, and yes, I do think both those cars are ugly as all get out. Watching this guy, it makes me wonder what the planning sessions were like...why do I envision fat cats in suits with the collars unbottoned drinking cheap beer and looking at the ugly Caddy CTS and the even uglier Camry for inspiration?

I agree.....I like the big pause when asked his first question. It was like, OHHH crap how can i fancy up this response.

At least we have a name and face for the guy responsible and that should be fired from there.

 

What a dork. I think he believes because he knows a bunch of jargon that he might be qualified to design a car. To me "keen edge dynamic" means "I don't know what I'm doing."

Yes, this guy is responsible for the coming up with the look of the car, but he's no way the guy with the final say. He took the ideas being presented to him and came up with something representative of such ideas. Yes, he sounds like tool, and he's probably is the tool that Acura's using, but he's just a cog. Blame the many executives and project managers that gave their thumbs up on the design that you guys don't like. And stop being so redundant and ignorant.
