We were out this evening and a 4G TL pulled behind and followed for maybe a couple miles. The headlights had a very yellow tint and not bright at all. We didn't have our 3G TL, but were driving our RX7 Turbo which doesn't have the auto dim mirror and the 4G lights were terrible when viewed in the mirror. Looked like a car from the '60's behind us, nothing like the 3G.
Question, is this normal?

 

They may be the daytime running lights you saw?

 

Thanks for the reply, and sorry for another question, but as the fog/driving lights were on, can the daytime running lights and driving lights be on at the same time? Actually, the fog/driving lights were much brighter than the headlights.

The daytime running lights have a yellowish look.

What you're describing HAS to be the daytime running lights, unless someone did a really poor mod!

 

It was a poor mod. The fog lights can't be on with just DRLs are on. If the the fog lights were brighter, that means the guy switched his stock OEM DRLs for those yellowish lights. Plus, the DRL are sorta kind yellowish, but not really.

 

gotta love the most Powerful Acura.......remember in 02 is where it started!!!
