Happened to be at Fashion Island this weekend - a mall in SoCal. The Apple Store there has been taken over by Tesla dealership, and they had a couple models in the 'store' - Roadster and Model S. Looking in the Model S, I almost screamed in glee to see a 17" touchscreen interface in the center. For perspective, the iPad is 9.7". Now that is tech! Of course the car is much more expensive than TL, but I still couldn't help wonder how long it will take Acura to catch up to stuff like that?!

Wow, that's a lot of screen. Don't show this to Swoosh-he already wants to put a larger screen in his TL.

 

 

I'm glad the TLs don't have an uninsurable $40k battery problem not covered under warranty... but yeah I'd take a 17" screen.
