Window tint for a 'Polished Metal' 2011 TL
I am planning to put a window tint on my 2011 TL.
Color: Polished Metal.
Are there different kind of tint colors? If yes, which color would you recommend? If there is no different color, what kind of shade would you recommend?
Cheers

My local Acura dealer uses Llumar Ceramic.
The whole car will run me $240+tax.
Is Llumar comparable to Huper?

Ask your dealer first!
Many Dealers will not put tint on the windows, since they had issues with increased friction when the window is lowered causing pre-mature window motor failure.. I have had my rear three windows tinted, medium black, and rarely ever lower the windows in the rear. California does not allow front side windows to be tinted.. 3 rear windows were $120 for the TL and the same for the wifes 2009 TSX..

We actually got our 2011 TL's windows tinted today. We got Llumar window tint (15%) and it is what we have had on our last 4 cars. Not sure about other brands, but we've never had an issue with the quality of the film. That said, the longest time we've owned a car with the film is 5 and 6 years so I can't vouch for anything beyond that.
Whole car, $160.

i like the black tint better then the silvery tint, MUCH BETTER (it's almost like just too much silver...)
and maybe even black out those headlights
along with a ronjon grill to help get rid of some of that chrome up front (everybody hates the design especially at first, but once you get rid of huge grill with it's amount of chrome, it's actually not a bad front end design)(and yours does not stand out cause of the car being silver, and the grill kinda blending in some)
