Why no bright colors available?

I think the safest best on exterior color is white, black, or silver. But it would be nice to have the option of a bright red or the old s-type blue? why is acura's (and many others) color selection so boring? I wish Acura could borrow Honda's selections.

because luxury sedans in exotic colors dont sell as well as standard colors (silver, black, etc.)

even though the exotic colors sometimes look really nice. like RRP/MRP.

also i dont think the 4G, even the '12 model year, would look good in bright colors like ABP or KBP. it barely looks good in black or silver lol.

I dunno bout that, I see plenty of BMW's and Audi's in blue. They kept the red but don't see too many luxury sedans in that color, go figure but as you can see I'm biased.

I did like Morrocan Red Pearl, if the dealr had an 08 Type-S in that color with Ebony interior I would have gotten it. The current Lexus IS has a burgandy that is beautiful with some serios metallic flake in it.

MRP is a very under rated color, I'll admit I wasn't crazy about it when I saw the posting for the car online, but when they brought it out to the front of the dealership all waxed up in the bright sun...omg I loved it lol. But anyway back on topic, I'm not so sure the 4G would look good in a bright blue or bright red. I just don't think it would compliment it well.

I like my Mayan Bronze Metallic very much, it has many layers of colors depending on the ambient light. Under bright sun light, it may reflect the color of sparkling red wine. got me lots of complement in color choice

Have to agree with you on that choice-- Think that this distinctive color makes the body style really stand out-- course I a little biased as well.
Have been told the color is everthing from purple to eggplant-- go figure.

Oh yeah, MBM is a GREAT color!!! The combination with umber interior is just incredible!!! :-)

I saw the new Forged Silver on a TSX wagon in the dealership the other day. It's a wonderful color. Very rich with a bluish tint, nothing like the Palladium color. That said, as much as I love the new Forged Silver, I wished that they would have a pure silver on offer with the 2012.
