Where and How to install the Load Resistors?

Where and How to install the Load Resistors?
I just ordered the Switchback LEDs and 50w load resistors, and im just wondering which wire i should splice and solder the resistors to?
usually i solder the wires together, use the heat shrink wraps around that, and then use electrical tape around that to make sure its sealed.
open to all suggestions, ideas and insights.
