For many years I've owned a 1956 Continental Mark II. Many people call it a Lincoln, but technically it's not. None the less I've used the letters Linmk2 for a long, long time. My name is Howard.

my SN goes back to the late 90's after my divorce. changed everything, including new internet host. Couldn't think of anything when prompted to pick a new SN, and looking around my den, I saw an old shortwave receiver on the shelf - Hallicrafters S-120. Thus, my new persona.

Name is Rudy Rogmans and my username dates back to the early nineties and I have no idea what I was thinking when I choose to continue using this username. Can we change my username to RdDrgn?
By profession I’m a CPA and a former auditor… I had a client that liked to kid around and call me the devil, Lucifer, and several other variations therein. About that time the movie Red Dragon came out and the client began calling me Red Dragon and well it stuck with them and all my co-workers as well. Hence RdDrgn.

Speedmaster is a chronograph watch made by Omega, and one of my favorites. Since becoming a serious collector/trader, have always owned at least one Omega Speedmaster It has been in production since 1957, it was the first watch worn on the moon, and has been worn by astronauts on many many space missions. I'm a car nut, and a watch nut. Omega, Breitling, Audemars Piquet, IWC, Hublot, Zenith, Girard Perregaux, and many more....

My username goes way back before my Acura days. I had a CJ-7 Jeep and was racing it through the water at the Great Sand Dunes and turned my wheels just a bit too much. The Jeep dug into the wet sand, brought it to a standstill but with so much inertia built up the tires broke loose and it flipped straight up in the air, did a 180 degree and came down on the top. Thankfully I had just installed a full cage rollbar system so no one hurt. After we righted the vehicle one of my friends kept saying what a crunch and then started calling me Capt Crunch. It has stuck for well over 20 years.

I think I've posted this once before, but my moniker stems from a nickname given me a very long time ago by fellow coworkers in the commercial TV broadcast industry. The term preshoot is an undesired anomaly occurring in the video portion of an analog TV signal, along with terms like overshoot and undershoot. We used to joke about the video quality of competing TV stations in our market area, realizing that as engineers & technicians we were likely the only ones who could see these imperfections (or cared). As most senior of the engineering staff at the time, the name "Cap'n" naturally attached. Retirement is sweet, but the nickname stuck.

Don't knock it 'till you try it. My middle son owns a "Pooper-Scooper" business in the metro Dallas area that in 2010 grossed 1/4 mil. http://www.dfwscoopers.com/
