Congrats on the purchase. I imagine that most would primarily mention the timing belt and water pump. It'd be proactive to change all of the fluids as well.

Seconding all of this. Don't believe anything the seller told you unless they've got the records to prove it. As much as changing the timing belt and water pump on a car with 3000 miles sucks, it's ten years old and that's about the point that the rubber will start to dry rot. Wouldn't surprise me if there are other seals/gaskets on the car that may start to fail as well from just sitting around for so long.

This one is an Advance pkg which is only available for AUTOs. Unless OP has some info wrong?

Unless there were multiple 3K mile examples of these cars just floating around??
Also...as far as the rear main leak thing....one guy alluded to the car having the leak, but then he never made any sense out of his statement before disappearing back into the internet
Now we're acting like it was definitive? lol

I am the guy who are lucky to get the chance to buy both Acura 2012 Acura TL 6 speed with 3000 miles in Ohio and other one 2012 Acura TL AWD advance with also 3000 in other state. For the 2012 Acura TL 6 speed, I put the deposit and had the car inspected and mechanic said there is oil leak in rear main seal. Even with main oil leak, i was planning to move forward with the purchase but the dealer breached the contract and sold it to someone else. That dealer really pissed me off,
I am very happy with 2012 Acura TL AWD advance. The condition is top. I changed the cabin and engine air filters. I am planning to take it to mechanic to change these and check the belts. If i bring all the parts to mechanic, what do you see the fair labor ?
- automatic transmission fluid
- transfer case
- coolant
- brake fluid
- oil change
- rear differential.

I took the car to dealer to take care of airbag open recall today. There are another open recall for software update for transmission? that included a free automatic transmission fluid change.
Also did the A1 service. The dealer is surprised for its super low milege and the car is in excellent shape.

I believe that transmission software update has to do with the torque converter. It would judder at low revs up hills or something similar, can't remember exactly as I had mine done about 5 years ago.
