What to do, what to do.....
Hi All, I'm thinking about joining the Acura Family. Well, TL family as we already own an MDX and love it.
I'm a little torn on what to do:
I could buy a newer TL-SH and love it, or should I just wait for a TLX? In my area a TL-SH Tech for example is still listing at $36k+ which seems awfully high being that they are shortly being replaced.
The way I see it my options are the following:
1. Wait for the TLX(I didn't want to pay this much truthfully as my car I'm in now is only 2 years mine but that's a whole other story).
2. Wait for the TLX to hopefully push TL prices down further
3. Just get the TL the way I want it so I don't have to fight for stock if other people have idea #2 as well(unlikely, I know).
The only huge improvement I'm seeing on the TLX front from what I've read is the much improved mpg on the AWD version. Is there anything else I would be missing out by going to the current gen?

A lot of it goes back to me not wanting to spend that much because I'm probably going to lose some on my trade. I'd rather spend X thousand less and get a CPO or something.

I couldn't get even close to that near me. I was at two Acura's today and they both want 40+ for that same car and will not budge on the price. Personally, I think they are on drugs, but they won't move on the price.

The Original Shawdy
Damn 36k new! After tax and licensing I was almost 50k after everything including the lip kit. Bit, never regret any dollar spent.

The deals on the 2014 model should be great with the TLX on the horizon. This model is a great car and with the incentives on them, they are a good value. The bugs are all ironed out long ago and the 6 cylinder engine without VCM is excellent.

I am not sure where you are purchasing, but I bought my TL about a month ago up here in Canada, and it was less than 36k new (TL, SHAWD, ASPEC).
I would look around for some deals.. best of luck.
