What did you pay for your TL?

I am days/weeks away from buying a 2009 TL SH w/tech. I live in Chicago and was curious to see what people are paying for these cars. I know that the 2010 is coming out, but is there any difference besides the manual.

When replying, please let me know month you purchased as someone that bought earlier probably paid closer to sticker.

Look at the owner sign-in thread pinned to the top of this forum. That should give you a pretty good idea.

From what has been said, any differences besides the manual are negligible.

$32,300 after the $1000 cash back for my new 09 TL FWD (non-tech obviouslyk). I think that's barely over dealer invoice. Bought it last week. I started looking at used 07's and 08's and told them what I wanted my monthly payment to be. They kept coming down on the price of the TL and even gave me $1200 more for my trade in than they originally offered. It pays to bargain.

What would a great deal be on 2009 TL tech pack front-wd?
My dad drove to 2 hours to a Peoria,IL Dealer and after talking for an hour they gave him a card and offered no test drive and was give the price of $39,700 even with the $4000 trade in

But I contacted sevral other dealers one being Goodson's in Dallas to get a price qoute on thier lowest price match and got $35,000 even

my thoughts are the peoria dealer is playing my parents as chumps because they have a crappy car for the trade in and speak english as a second language.
Or that particular rep is an A-hole

I get the feeling they will only drop down 2K for 37,500 for their obo

and yes my dad is experienced in buying cars he has bought 6 in past 40 years

I paid 37,500 for a SH-AWD - and there is a bit of scarcity with those.

The way to handle the trade in issue is to say "whether or not I have a trade in is not relevant until we agree that I'm buying a car from you,"
If he was there for an hour and not even offered a test drive...

Your rep was an A--hole. You're buying a car, not a chocolate bar! Reps should be polite and professionnal. I always treat my clients with the same level of respect, whether it's a 300 000 $ deal or a multi-million one: they come to me because they trust me, I sure won't make them feel like crap!

$38,539 (including destination, not tax) for an 09 Tech AWD. Silver on black from Pohanka Acura in Northern Virginia. Had the front and rear chrome painted for another 1000.

YetiTL where are you located ? I'm in quad city area in Davenport

I have contacted the 2 clossest dealers Des moines and Peoria

The des moines dealer gave me their lowest pitch of $1,000 off
a 09 Tl/tech claimng that they can't go lower beacuse they have 2 left
& by the time 2010 tl arrives [they will be gone ] sounded a bit cocky

The other dealer near chicago hieghts gave me $2,500 off + the trade of$3,000 quote

I got a price out of peoria I made sure that Doushe was gone too and only got $1800 off and $3100 for a trade ,this guy was a better rep

I will research Chicago region for sure before driving to Texas
but they do have a tempting Apr and Price

Acura of Columbus here in Ohio has over 50 TL's in stock. You can check their inventory online. I made them give me an extra $100 off because my purchase back in April took them down under 100.
