I was driving an Impala, test drove a TL 3rd generation, salesman said two weeks the 4th generation will be out. Waited two weeks, drove the 4th generation, and it cost me a lot of money. It was great, currently have over 12K miles and I love it. The seat is so comfortable on my back.

Went from an 07 TL into an 09 TL, SH-AWD, tech pkg....
Reasons
1. Had to have the AWD...I LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT!
2. Smooth as silk ride is exponentially better (it actually feels like a luxury car now)
3. Better interior - everything is sweet especially the HDD

Previous was actually two cars. A highly modified '05 300+ whp WRX toy and a VW Passat 3.6 DD. Two for one consolidation with my TL. I have owned a Honda many years ago, but this is my first Acura. Very nice so far. I am pleased.

Drove a Lexus IS 250 before trading it in for my new TL SH-AWD 6MT

My name says it all. I was and still own a 2000 Mitsubishi Diamante with 242,000 + miles. Started to nickel and dime in repairs so I figured it was time to get a new vehicle, lol. Cross shopped the BMW 3 (too small) 5 series (too expensive) Audi A4 (4 cyl) Infinity G37 (too many on the road) and the C300 (too small). Settled on the TL good price and good car. I'm happy.

I was driving an 06 Altima SE-R 6MT. Great car, kind of miss it. But love the TL SH-AWD. I Also had an 09 Altima Coupe 3.5SE. I recently traded in the 09 Altima Coupe for a 2010 Infiniti G37x w/Premium pkg.
I'm quite satisfied now......2010 TL SH-AWD & a 2010 Infiniti G37x in my garage. It's always a hard choice on which to drive to work every morning. lol

Drove a 1992 Acura Legend for ten years, and my Dad drove it the 8 years prior. Still runs, and still own it, but now its going to be restored to like-new.

I was driving an Infiniti G35X 2006 and i loved that car. Not i single rattle after 50,000 milles.
To be honnest, i am a bit disapointing with the overall quality of th TL SH AWD. I have now 6,000 milles on it and some rattle or squeak comes out. Plastic squeak in the dash, rattle come from the passenger side, plus that clunk i heard when i start the engine. I find the suspension very very noisy when drive on a rough road, i know the sport suspension and the 245/45R18 don't help but it is a bit to much.
What i like, the power of the 3.7L, the fuel economy, better than the G35X.
I don't think i will buy another Acura product.

These poll results are interesting. A lot of people, as myself, are new to Acura. But there are more who are repeat TL buyers. I would have guessed from a lot of the sentiment of previous gen TL owners, the number would be a lot less.
