Unfortunately it's not a TL, dealership wasn't willing to deal and I was able to pick up this G37x, 2 years newer and with less miles/cleaner condition for several thousand less than a comparable TL. This was a great community, sad I can't join in with a TL of my own, but no regrets, the G37x is a fantastic compromise. Thanks for the help to those of you who put up with my nagging questions of the last month!

Congrats, I just came out of a 2007 G35X and loved it. Extremely fast, fun and reliable. You won't have any regrets unless you decide down the road you want something a little roomier. I find my 2012 TL's technology is a step above the Infiniti's and the ELS blows the Bose audio system away but the Infiniti handles better IMO.

I wanted the Tl, but a 2010 TL with 25k miles for 28k or a 2012 G37x with 21k for 26k. Acura dealer offers me $5,000 for my trade-in, Infiniti offers me 11k.. I liked the TL, but not that much.

The G is a nice car. I think you'll enjoy it. Congrats.

Evidently the Acura dealer didn't want your business. Sounds like they were asking way too much for the TL and lowballing your trade. I just bought a 2012 TL Advance/FWD with 21k miles for $27,750 plus TTL. I got $16,500 for my 2007 G35X Premium with 56k miles. You'll love the
G37X! Looks great in white.

Congrats on your purchase and considering price/availability I think you made the wiser choice. Too bad the Acura dealer wasn't willing to work with you more.

Congrats.
The G37x with a clutch must be even harder to come by than the AWD TL with such.

I find it pretty funny when an Acura dealer tries to sell you on a used Infinity on their lot. When talking about that used Infinity, all of a sudden its God's gift to mankind when just few minutes ago, it was nothing compared to an Acura.

I was actualy debating between the TL SH-AWD and the G37x. I ultimately decided to go with the TL based on Acura's reliability and I liked the styling of the TL more than the G37x. I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy your G37x. Infiniti's G-series vehicles have more aftermarket support than our 4th Gen TL's do.

I'm loving it, car is so quick and enjoyable to drive. I do wish it came in a manual, but such is life. The Acura dealership didn't want my car since it was so heavily modified, they kept asking me to jump through all of these hoops to sell it to other dealerships, bring the money back to them, etc. Infiniti just took it and sold it to another dealership themselves, didn't put any of the hassle on me.
