I had resistors in mine, even double checked with the other thread if you check my post in it, but it still happened.

I bought a used 09 that only had one key. When I went to get the second Key programed it took them close to 2 hours, no jokes, to get it done because of how sensitive it is. I had LED reverse bulbs and plate bulbs at the time, and he said little variances in the voltage cause a lot of problems. I didn't believe him at the time, which is why I still put the switchbacks in, but it looks like he may have been right.

The car wouldn't start because of a lightbulb issue?

I don't know that I've ever pulled a "lightbulb under-voltage" code from an ECU.

Yikes, been scouring the forum for LED sizes for two days now and then came upon this thread! I LEDed my 2004 and 2008 with out any problems. Just getting set to LED my 2011. I was interested in the switchbacks, but looks like beyond my technical/mechanical abilites.

Hope to find a "white" DRL and FOG replacment in a non-LED format.

Hope to find LEDs for backup, door, vanity, license, and trunk.

Also hope to avoid major repair at the dealer!

I actually have LED door Lamps, in the trunk, and the vanity mirrors, and HID's for the fogs (were LED's as well for color match), a set of LED for the corner markers in the front headlamps, and LED halo's (Thanks to JnC) wired in and never had any issues with those. I don't know what caused that problem for me, but I might try it again down the line.

potmilkz, what Reverse bulbs are you using? I tried the t10 LED's two different types, just weren't bright enough. I'm thinking about going with cree.

Well I skipped the LED route and put in stealthbulbs over the weekend...gets rid of the yellow and still turns amber...just an option for those considering skipping the LEDs

I've had LEDs in the license plate, the doors, and the trunk for over a year - no issues. The factory floor lamps are LED - you can brighten them up quite a bit by drilling out that diffuser they connect into.

I may explore doing the visor lights, but really, I don't know that I ever use them, just annoyed that they weren't LED from the get go.
