Unique license plate frame

Anyone out there seen a unique license plate frame that will go well with the 4G's styling? My 4G is the polished alloy color and I was hoping to find somthing that would compliment the styling (maybe a titanium finish?)

I have 3d frames on my car, and I love them. They're a bit on the expensive side, but oh well. Here's a pic:

I have the top one, chrome on chrome, on my Grigio 4G TL. Here's the link for the website:

The thing I like most about these is that you never see them. You'll be the only one with them, most likely. Probably because they're $30 each frame lol. For Palladium, I'd most likely go with the chrome/chrome, unless the chrome on the plate frame is drastically different from the car. If it is, go with Black/Chrome. I don't think it is though, you should be fine with the chrome.

They are nice but I never understood why somebody would want 'Acura' written on their plate frame when it's written about 2 feet above on the car.

You might be right Keith, I hope not though. I ordered it before I read your advice. I had a similar license plate frame on my "Silverstone" silver 350Z. It didn't match perfectly but it looked fine. I suspect that will be the case here...

lol I know what ya mean, but I don't know why, I just like having my plate frames say the kind of car. Call it being proud of the brand =)

The good news is the PM color is a bit muted in appearance, I suspect so that it does not clash witht he beak, I mean power plenum grill. I suspect that is why there is no real silver color this year, too bad I loved my Alabaster Silver!!

The problem with these chrome plated frames is that over the winter, snow and salt will quickly cause corrosion and they end up looking terrible. The one I got from my dealer is only 3 months old and it already looks bad from salt corrosion.

You're right, but these are pretty good quality metals. The ones I had on my Infiniti were much cheaper quality, and they held up pretty well over two years. I'm expecting these to hold up even better.

Different strokes. I put Latin on my frame plate so nobody will know what I think!

That's because you bought some cheap Taiwanese shit. Real triple plated chrome doesn't do that. Huge problem in the air cooled VW scene with shitty Taiwanese chromed hub caps. The German stuff still looks good 38 years later.

Buy a $70 umbrella and never lose it or by 10 $10 umbrellas!

I ordered one of these license plate frames (the black pearl color) and loved it....and as an added bonus, it's fairly heavy duty... http://www.autostuff.com/stainless-s...ate-frame.html
