transmission pressure switch connector
Hi,
New here, just got a 2012 TL. It is having a shift issue and I bought new pressure switches to replace them thinking one of them was bad. It is the 2nd gear switch. When I went to remove the switches to replace them, I discovered that the wire was broke off at the connector for the 2nd gear switch. It is broke right at the connector and I'm hoping some place sells the connector with a pigtail on it so I can reconnect the wires. Does anyone know where to get one of these connectors. I just don't know if a Acura dealership would have one. Hopefully someone has had this problem or knows where to get one.
Thanks,
Kevin

no, they don't sell connectors with pigtails like that. Your best bet is to buy a new connector from a non-dealer site and bust out your soldering iron, solder a new wire and pin in place. Motorcycle Terminals, Connectors, and Wiring Accessories
i have this place bookmarked if/when i have connectors break.
Alternatively, what you could do is go to a junkyard and source the exact connector and solder it in place as well.

I suspect the pressure switch connectors are similar between Honda/Acura models.
Here is a transmission pressure switch connector for a TSX (any H/A 4cyl 5 speed trans).
I used it to repair an 2008 Odyssey V6-VCM controller pressure switch connector damaged during an alternator replacement.
It fit perfectly.

Take a look to see if it fits your switch.
It might be available at a local auto parts store. ATP is a common brand.
