How much fluid does it take to go from the low mark (a hole) on the trans dipstick to the high mark (2nd hole)???

it depends on the temperature of the transmission but the fluid needs to be checked with the engine at operating temp within 90 secs of shutting off the engine.

I've found the difference between the upper and lower marks to be about a quart but it depends on the temp.
