Transfer Case Fluid/Oil - Does the car need to be level?
Hey all, I just did a transfer case fluid and I just realized as I mid-way filling it up...does the car need to be level? I've put my car on ramps and some people might have on stands but does that matter that the car is raised from the front?
Also, I've used Royal Purple 75w-90 synthetic. I know service manual calls for 80w-90 but it's hard to find in synthetic. That fine?

On One Hand: If you don't do it exactly as outlined in the service manual, with exactly the right Honda-branded fluid, your car might die a horrible flaming death and it will be your fault.
On The Other Hand: It will probably be fine. Just make sure you put in the right amount of fluid.
