Did you have a lot of problems with the Evo?

 

listen i love the evo but i had so many problems "and i aint the only one join the forum just to see lol" but lets start off that the engine blew about 3 months after i bought it "about 8000" to fix " then my tranny went about 2 months after i built the motor , then after i put a brand new tranny "1900" then awd pump went , which cost 2200 to fix , now when that light came on i just wanted to get rid of it , so i traded it in the other day , with the problem , i just cleared the light and then my problem became there problem =]

Sounds like you made a good decision. Did you get the TL from Acura of Boston? I've been pretty happy with the service I've received there so far.

 

That's horrible story. You won't get any major problem with your Acura unless you pick defective one.

I traded in my 2010 evox for similar problems. Blown motor luckily it was warrantied, but then master cylinder failures leaving me stranded and oil leak issues, turbo had to be replaced etc.

I got a 2010 tsx v6, and while I missed the raw dynamics of the evo I feel the acura was an awesome buy.

In fact I am looking at getting a tl shawd since my wife wants the tsx.

 

I always wondered other than the noise and rattles whats the trade off for all that speed and potential power. Congrats OP! 2snail, you wont be disapointed!

 

man i cant tell you how happy i am with my tl , i do miss the evo but its not worth putting all that money into it and you cant even drive it ,because theres always problems lol ! but yeah the sh-awd tl is a great car bud. ill be posting pixs up soon
