took posession last night
just took possession of TECH black on black. Installed some tints and skirt kit. Kept the 17in with some winter tires, and waiting for spring to go to summer 19's or 20's.
Had a 07 TL type-s and the two cars are both different and you cannot really compare them. Sport 07/08 versus lux 09.
So far, I am happy and also with the grill. decided not to paint it, cause it is growing on me.
Oh ya, the nav system is completely different the 3rd gen, and must say that so far I liked better the 3rd gen nav.(easier but maybe because its new and am not used to yet)

Congrats, I couldn't imagine trading in my 2008 TL for the new one, much less a type s.
I just can't get over the looks regardless of how nice it may be, I went and looked at it and just couldn't do it.

will take pics later and post them. I did not trade in my type-s it got stollen. So sort of had no choice but to take a 09, or else I would loose some money.
In terms of the tints, dealer screwed up. I ask them to do a 30% legal tint on front pass/driver than a 50% grade on two back doors and then a 80% grade in the back, but it does not look it. It looks more like 30% front and 50% the rest. Although they screwed up, it still looks nice.
Can't wait for spring to get some wheels, cause those 17ings kill the car.

Awesome that you added the OEM kit. Makes the TL looks so much nicer. If you are planning to get rims for the spring or summer season, I go with 20's!!! The 4th GEN TL is bigger in size and I think 20 will look perfect!!

Enjoy !! I liked the new Weather Radar on the Nav Screen. That was pretty darn cool. Do you like the 4G better than your Type S???

Nice! Congrats and welcome to the ever-growing 4G family! It's great to see new 4G owners popping up here quite regularly now.......you 4G haters and naysayers out there who believed the car will never sell are looking pretty bad right now.......even with all big decline in new car sales, the latest news showing the 4G selling well within Acura tells us once again the naysayers are WRONG!

Pete, you truly carry the 4G flag for the team! It does seem like the "haters" and naysayers have died down alot. Since we are all Acura owners, I think we all hope that the 4G's sell well for them. Obviously, with every new generation design, so will like it and some won't.
Keep carrying the flag high, my friend. Maybe just don't wave it back and forth so hard-and that is said with alot of respect for you and your new 4G TL. You are the man !!!!

IG, I concur with you, I'm loving my 4G and I actually LOVE the front now. I parked my in the very last parking spot at Walmart and it took me a couple minutes to walk to it. As I walked I looked at it and I thought...the folks who think this doesn't look sporty are crazy.
You will get used to the Nav! At first I thought the 3G was easier until I realized it different not more difficult. The like the "find the nearest" feature. It cuts down a bunch of taps on the old screen. The definition on the new screen can't be beat. I just noticed that it has arrows that shows one way streets. That's huge in unfamiliar downtown areas.

But as you said you defiantly need bigger wheels and a drop may be down the line.

IG, push the "Info" button, then scroll left to "Weather Info," then there are 4 choices. I always use the "Weather" tab. It ask if you want weather forecast for "Current location" or you can type in the location or pick it on the US map. Its pretty cool because it gives you today's forecast or the next 3 days. It shows the icons and also tells you details.

ok 5 days of possession, and so far 180Km driven or about 120 miles and the only thing which is bothering me is those leather seats. there are some seems and bumps already.
What I do, do put some leather treatment already or do I bring it to the dealer and let them know about this..
Other than that, this is an awsom car, along with the original grill.
