I just came back from Toronto where they had ads at the dealership for cash rebates. So I looked up the Acura.ca website and found that there was a $4500 cash rebate for the 2010 TL in the Toronto area. However, this did not seem to apply to Alberta. Is it true that Acura Canada is just offering a big cash rebate for the TL's in Toronto??? How come?

 

My guess is that Acura Canada gave big cash rebates only in selected areas where TL sales were poor. Alberta isn't one of them it seems...

 

All promotions in Canada are Regional. 2 years ago, the cash rebates on MDX's were HIGHER than the ones in Ontario as their inventory levels were much higher than ours.

I wonder if that has anything to do with Alberta's economy being stronger? Or is it just that there is for some reason less of a demand in Ontario?

Also, what % of the TL sold in Canada are SH-AWD? I wonder if there is any stats on this?

 

In Vancouver BC there was a $4500 rebate for the TL and MDX too back in May. And I see a lot of TLs (especially SH-AWD model) running around now.
