Those with LED fog lights...

So I'm looking for a set of LED fog lights to replace my current yellow halogens. I know some people are rocking VLED or other brands but I found this set...

Morimoto XB LED headlight bulbs CREE

Does anyone have any input on these? Or do they happen to match the headlights? Seems like the output is really good and the price is amazing plus they're a sponsor so we get a discount.

The Morimoto Type-S XB LED fogs are a direct replacement for the 12+ TL. I have them and they are pretty nice.

Get the direct replacement instead of the bulb! The optics will be infinitely better because it's the entire housing that's custom-created by TRS for the 3 LEDs inside. 10/10 recommend. If you see the price difference as an issue, you can sell off your OEM fog light housings and recoup the costs .

It's worth mentioning that the direct replacements are only for the 2012-14 TLs.

As mentioned above, the direct replacement is only for the 12+. The 09-11 which is what I have has an oval housing of some sort or something. No one has them? I've been up and down on threads looking for a demo.

I know endlessrpm has the led fogs for sale, im not sure if they are the exact same.. Maybe you should partner up with someone in customer service to see if they are the same so you can go from there. Did you ask customer service at the retrofit source?

Has anyone installed these? I have morimoto low beams with matching fogs and the output on both are better than anything else I see on the road. How does the LED fogs compare to the HID's?

I have the Morimoto LED fogs in my TL and the light output is significantly better than the HID's I put in our 07 TL's fogs. They match the low beams almost perfectly.

Did you have Morimoto HID fogs as well or other brand?

AndrewTRS was able to confirm that it would not fit a 09-11 and that only 2012+ had it because it was similar to TSX's fogs and the demand for 09-11 wasn't as high as 2012+ TL's and TSX's

It's the entire housing. The Morimoto XB LED Type-S Fogs. It produces a nice flat cutoff line similar to the low beams.

No, they aren't Morimoto HID kits.

Very nice! very nice! Can't beat the morimotos xb led and the v-leds V3 Triton switchbacks. They are the best in business period!!!

Jerry, you should post your pictures showing the cutoff lines of the fogs under the low beams.

Ok here are the cut off lines of the new morimoto xb leds. Low beam are the original Osram CBI 5500K from Germany, no mode to low beam lenses. Enjoy..............
