Tein EDFC module placement

I purchased the Tein SS with EDFC and i want to know where members here have placed their EDFC unit. I have an appointment on Friday to have the coilovers installed. I have seen some members install them in the center cosole between the radio and the shift stick. Can members please post pics of where you have your EDFC module installed or any feedback would be appreciated.

I remember seeing on member use the "not an ashtray" compartment too. I honestly think the glove box is the best spot.

when you close the box, it will fit. you may have to cut some pieces out from the backside of the glove box.

I wasthinking about the glove compartment but it would be to far away to adjust while I'm driving, but then it would be safer there because I can lock it and no one can steal it. My car was broken into a few weeks ago and if I place it in the Ashtray compartment it can be stolen.

I see what you mean when you want to udjust it on the fly but the glove box will be your best clean install, that's how I did mine with a double side velcro. The only draw is you will need to move it to a side when changing the cabin filter which usually once a year.

can you close the little cover in the center console with your placement? It looks perfect in that location just need to kno wif the cover closes.

Also did you installed it yourself or a shop did it for you?

I helped out with my friend at the shop to run the wires and what not. You need to trim the back of the tray to fit right in. yes it will close

Did you had to take the center console apart?

I MIGHT have.......I have to take out the 2 trims along the side and then there are screws that mounts the trays.
