Talked Mom into getting a TL!
I've been wanting a TL for a while now but when push came to shove bought something else
Anyway - my Mom has been on a never ending car hunt until I directed her to the beautiful TL. So ending up loving it and bought it!
2013 TL Base, 15K miles for $25,500 out the door! Great deal!
It's Graphite Luster Metallic with Graystone interior. I'm so happy for her as she's been through some tough times with my father out of work for years and a lot of shit on her shoulders.
As a gift I'm getting the car tinted in a couple weeks. I'll post some pics when I see it then!

what a nice nice thing to do for her, good for you!
window tint and a nice girly air freshener (if that's her style) will have her boasting about this for a while.

I hope she enjoys it. I'm sure she will.
Your post reminds me of an experience I had a couple years ago...I was driving home and out of nowhere comes this Mazda 3, weaving in and out of traffic, and generally being a total doosh (I know that's not how it's spelled). I don't know how many cars he cut off, but he got stopped up ahead at a light. When I pulled up alongside, rather than let him have it, I simply rolled down my window (his was already open) and said, "nice car...that's the Carbon Grey Metallic, isn't it?". "Yeah" he says, "you know your Mazdas".
"Not really," I said, "but my mom has the same one."
The light turned just then and I pulled away. I'm certain I left him just a little sadder than before he stopped.

Well if it helps - the reason her car search has been agonizing is because she hates "mommy" mobiles and didn't want a car that made her feel or look like an old person... lol
if she could afford it she'd be driving a Jaguar XK!
