Question Switchback and DRL Decision

I just gripped up a 4th Gen TL and I'm not digging the piss stained color DRL's. I've been looking around the Zine to see if any one had experience with the ones off of Ebay (Switchbacks and DRLs) but no luck. My question is are the ones from ijdmtoy or ddmtuning, ETC...that much better than the ones off of Ebay? I'm planning on switching thos lights out S.A.P. Please help I have no experience with the two companies mentioned above.

i bought ebay DRLs, they were solid, no issues. i bought ebay switchbacks, they were horrible. i ended up getting ijdmtoy switchbacks after that and theyre good.

my recommendation.. go straight with ijdmtoy. they have sales here and there. if u really cant stand the daytimes, just take out the fuse for now.

Just did mine from iJDMtoy through the DIY link a few posts down. The DRL's are offered with a pre-wired harness to eliminate the error code but the switchbacks need you to tie in some resistors that they also offer. Not hard at all if you follow that DIY, big difference.

Thanks for the replies. Mo I will take your advice and go with ijdmtoy but will I get a error code or sumn if I disable the fuse? Sdot good look for the pics and link that helped me out a lot I had no idea where to start or what bulbs I needed. I'm also planning on doing my fogs I had the 2nd and 3rd gen I just slapped some hyper yellows in them but this time Im going Hid. Any recommendations or can one of you direct me in the right direction. New to the forum so I'm not getting around to good.

Jay, I'm hoping to do my HID fog install on Thursday weather permitting. I got 3000k for the fogs so they should be nice and yellow. Thats what I had on my TSX and it looked nice. There's another DIY thread on here that has a walk thru on that as well.

Head on shot they look a lil washed out from the headlights and switchbacks, I'm guessing the cellphone pics didn't do it justice neither..

here's a close up angled shot to help you see the yellow coloring of the 3000k fogs..

I really can't get the picture from the head on shot they look really yellow from the close up (looking for that Lexus is300 hyper yellow xenon look). Do you like them? If It's not to much trouble can you get like a wall or ground shot or something when you get a chance. Good look on the pics though.. I got my Drls and switchbacks in yanked out my grill, plasti dipped it so the install was easy they look nice but... My fogs just don't fit the look for me. Thanks for your help

The DRL and switchbacks I got from iJDM, they are both the ones specified in the DIY link I posted on here. The switchbacks I had to tap in for the resistors but the DRL's came with a nice pre-wired harness so no error codes either way.I had no idea how to do anything with resistors (still don't honestly) but the DIY was perfect.
