Steering Wheel Cover?

The steering wheel cover that's supposed to be one size fits all from the store won't fit across this 2013 TL's steering wheel. I figured that's what would happen, as this wheel seems thicker in circumference and there spots around the stereo and cruise control buttons that get even thicker. This is one of the more unique steering wheels I've experienced. Does anyone have any recommendations for me to get a true solid fitting steering wheel cover? If not, does anyone have the exact specs of the steering wheel so I can get one custom made that will fit over all parts of wheel pretty well? Thanks

Can you be more specific about the cover “from the store”?

In my experience these covers that are add-ons need to be stretched when installed so follow the instructions carefully.

See this photo. Wheel cover is a basic add-on. My TL steering wheel seems to be thicker than most. Judging on what parts I can get over the wheel at this point, many parts of wheel won't be covered very well by this product. I may reach out to Acura to see if they have an OEM cover or can give me very detailed specs to get a custom made one

That appears to be the cover at

and it looks like it was about $16. In looking at the reviews many people say the fit is poor, either too big (slips) or too small. It also doesn't look like it last very long, 12 to 15 months seems to be mentioned often. And as I said relative to instructions, someone mentioned the instructions say leave it in the sun for several hours so it will stretch during installation. What is the approximate diameter of your steering wheel. My 22 RDX is 14.5 inches.

Roughly what are you willing to pay? Perhaps pay a visit to AutoZone or Advance.

Maybe after the two-tone effect.

if you have the SH-AWD, the steering wheel rim is thicker than the wheel rim on the FWD. Maybe the cover is designed to fit the FWD.
