^^ Let us know how that goes. Based on the hole placements, not sure if it'll be a direct fit on a 4G TL. Keep us updated. Thanks!

^ Yeah... I compared... at least by picture of other pedals and noticed the same. But on the amazon page, it listed the manufacturer part number and it seems to correspond to the 4G TL.

For $11.07... I am not expecting much and by picture does look a little cheap but then again, I would doubt anyone will be nose close to inspect foot pedals so if they fit, look decent from a distance and are not slippery, I think I will be ok with them. We shall see and will let you guys know.

got mine yesterday. Looks nice, but they feel pretty raw. As in no protective coating over the metal. Will there be any issues with rust?

For me, nothing more than with the regular pedals.

No slipping. No rust. They're aluminum.

Sorry I meant corrode. Will these corrode without some sort of surface protection?

I just pick up a 2013 TL SE a couple of weeks ago and joined the forum earlier this week. I would really like to do the pedal upgrade, but there are several different sellers on ebay selling what looks to be identical pedals. Does anybody have actual experience with one that htey can recommend? I've tried the links in previous post , but the pedals don't look as good as the ones pictured installed here. Thanks.

I wish. I have looked repeatedly for a set for the MT.....still no luck. I wore through the side of the stock rubber clutch pedal cover in the first 5000 miles. Swapped it with the brake pedal cover for now but I certainly would like a better alternative.

If anyone has a source for MT pedals PLEASE share!

I don't know about you guys but I really love my pedals. I did post the link earlier in this thread and it's my understanding some of you purchased them from the same seller soon after. 2 thumbs up in my book.

For under $30, how can you go wrong?

Aluminum is somewhat corrosion resistant. You might want to clear lacquer.
But that might be more than it is worth. Light oxidation of the surface and maybe some pitting is maybe a worst case. Could polished out. Technically typical surface treatments to prevent corrosion of aluminum are chemical film or anodizing both regular and hardcoat.

Anyone with along-term experience in driving in snow/salt roads with aluminium pedals? How well would these behave resist to rust? Also, does anyone know if the seller sells only the rubber? I would like to order an additional set of rubbers as reserve.

$260 for something u can hardly see...to each their own but I like my money to much to spend it on that. I actually think the regular pedals are nice. My 2011 BMW 535i pedals weren't quite as nice as the TL's.

those aluminum pedals that are "OEM" look just like the cheap $25 set... i'm sure in person there is a difference but it's hard to tell there is any quality differences in the photos...

where did you get this OEM set? do they look / feel nice?

true story...I love mine.

Those OEM ones look to be better quality (OBVIOUSLY), but the whole point of the ebay pedals is...cost...and for the price, you're not losing out.

Is the rubber piece there to separate the aluminum from the steel connector, and fend off galvanic corrosion?

my pedals are here.. plan to install this weekend.

for the brake pedal... are most of you removing the OEM rubber brake pedal pad and then bolting the new aluminum pedal on OR are you putting any kind of backing material on the OEM pedal?

the rubber "nibs" are all part of a one piece rubber sheet that lies flat on teh back of the pedal...but I have seen a pic here where the nibs got depressed flush with the pedal.. presumably the contoufr of the aftermarket pedal is not 100% the same as the OEM brake pedal..so when you push on the pedal..some of the nibs may depress through...

if you were to bolt thing thing directly onto the OEM rubber pedal... i wuld think that extra backing would keep the rubber nibs from pushing in?? i read one guy here did just that.

what did most of you do? I guess since they just bolt on i can try either way and always take it off.... and redo if necessary...

these things loook great for the cheap price.
