Splash Guards & Body Side Molding?

I am considering having the dealership add these two add-ons to my SH-AWD. Have any of you done either option? Do you recommend them or not? I know it's mostly personal preference, but I am curious as to what you guys think? I have noticed the tires do kick up their share of water when hitting a puddle.

Let me know your thoughts. It's very cool to be able to share our experiences (good & bad) with this new car. I still have yet to see another owner on the road, so I am thankful for AZ! :-)

I like the splash guards but I despise the body side moulding. Ruins the side view of the car IMO.
YMMV and you should get what you think looks good.
Welcome to AZ. Great place with very helpful folks.

Yo vader. I dig them both, and you can do it yourself too. It's really easy, it just takes some time. I'm terrible with DO-IT-Yourself stuff, but I did these two. I love the splash guards and love the side molding on the the CBP and WDP IMO, it breaks up the very large door and protects too!

I got my stuff here: http://www.acurapartssuperstore.com/...uk72tb9v6rppb5, then installed it myself. They both come with instructions. Holla if you need help. I posted a bunch of pics on the splash guards in the photo section, I just can't ever find it?

I checked out the stuff for the 4G TL they sell on that site. One question - why with the door edge guards and the body side molding - do the prices change w/ the ext color??

I have the rear splash guards on my white car and it looks great. It helps keep the a little bit car cleaner.

I'm guessing the finish or paint match is more difficult with the higher priced ones? IDK?

I agonized over this very decision a few months ago. I came to the same conclusion as PsychDoc above. It also looked to me like the body-side moldings are placed at a point where I wasn't sure that they would protect the car all that effectively...

I have both--which were already installed when I took delivery. The splash guards look alright but there are some gaps along the edges with the body which makes them look tacky and ill-fitting. I initially thought the side moldings were useless but like someone said, they do break-up the big door panels and does gives some character to the lines of the car.

That's what I like Pete. There is a line that flows around the car in the CBP and WDP that I see to give it a very sleek look. We all see what we want to see. It's a good thing these are options! I'd like to see side moldings on the other colors. It's also odd how some don't like the moldings, but will put the skirt kit around the bottom?
