35% front (Legal) - 20% rear - Very hot & bright where I live; when the car is outside, does not look dark at all in my environment. Today 101 Fahrenheit, have not seen rain this year. Here in the high desert sun and rattle snakes, brutal sometimes.

Not everybody tints so that you can't see through. Here in Chicago it's a $250 fine and they can write one while you're parked on the street. IL state law is technically 35%, but Chicago feels they're more important than the state and doesn't allow any tinting. Some people don't have interest in attracting that type of negative attention.

oh i guess.. here in socal.. any tint is considered illegal.. so i might as well go the darkest. ive only got ticketed once and it was a $100 fine. im ok with that.

If you consider a 4G Exclusive you need some help. I must see 5-10 a day and that's just the ones on my side of the highway. Now if you had a pic of say a ZR1, Lamborghini or Bentley them maybe you would have an actual Exclusive car. As of now you have a very attainable car that is outsold by every other luxury car in its class.

This is the only car forum I've ever belonged to with such arrogance. Heaven forbid somebody have a rookie question or take pride in something you don't agree with... sometimes it's best to stfu and not feel the need to be an internet badass.
Let it go and let this guy take pride in what he's done.

Brock, man, the beak, the beak, some of us like it, Acura likes it and is not going to change it because you don't like it. Read my post the right way or go back to your cave and entertain some other trolls.

im at 17%, all the cars that i have owned is at that percentage.. like i said where i live its pretty much illegal to have tint up in the front windows.. and it doesnt look that good with shades of tint on your car

UM actually they did change the beak on the 2012 model year, Acura felt it was driving away buyers so they calmed it down to be less Exclusive. Or the real word you are looking for would be an eyesore or maybe to Bold? Those work better than exclusive.

Tint on the front windows in NJ are illegal as well, I have 20% on some cars and 35% on the others. I have honestly never heard of 17%, we do have 15% here though. But I only use 3M so that might be the difference there.

Btw. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, you should learn on a PUBLIC forum to respect others opinions, you're cheap shots are transparent and misplaced, without any value for the community.
Good luck in your further endeavors of life!!

Now if it was an argument, there would be name calling and curses used. At least that's how any arqument I have seen or been apart of has worked.

It's called a conversation not an argument, this is how conversations work. One person says one thing, the second persons replies. If the first person has anything to add them they do. Then the second person can respond if they have anything to add. And so on and so on, etc.

For the sake of argument means; getting an insight into whether it is true, or whether we might want it to be true. (Like in your case).

Yea, it does have a manual that I have read several times, there is no option to allow for it to use the multiple quote option. Been there and tried it, do you think this is the first and only forum that has a multiple quote option? Like i said the newer iPad does it fine.

Now you're just talking out of your ass. You want the beak to be Classy/Exclusive, not me. Nice try though, go back to the drawing board and type some more shit in Bold.

I would color match it and the rear trim, at first it took me a few days to get use to the new look and it did remind of a Camry. After i see other TL's with the stock setup I'm glad I went ahead and color matched both pieces. I do get comments from time to time, from people that know the difference.

I think the big issue was OP probably meant "unique" opposed to "exclusive" in reference to the grill. Unique, it definitely is... and I'm in the minority that actually like the approach Acura had. They had the balls to go out on a limb and try a new approach... it wasn't well received, but numerous car brands have done the same.

You should take your own advice, my comment was simply " Man I'm glad I painted my grill" it didn't degrade you in any way or your choices. I didn't say hey that's ugly as fuck you should paint it or anything near that. So please respect my comment which had nothing to,actually do with you. Every stock TL came with that grill, it wasn't a mod you did to your car at all. So did I disrespect your mod choices? Did I say anything negative about your tint? No I didn't, you're the exact reason I say " common since, isn't so common". Enjoy your day and your further adventures of staying Classy/Exclusive, I have nothing else to say on this matter.

^^ Whether you like the look of this car or not, the owner has clearly done some mods/customizations, such that there likely isn't another one like it.
Isn't that the definition of "exclusive"?
