I'm pretty sure this is the case - when JnC did my lights he used the TSX projector - shoot him a PM -he'll know for sure.

Edit - I'm almost positive these are the ones I got

They are definitely 2.5" projectors, not too much room for anything bigger. Found out while trying to retro the 3G projectors in there.

i was going through the JnC thread, i think he mentioned 70mm on there.

yep 70mm, check on page 12 of JnC's thread. it was actually in response to you asking him.

Could you please put that link here? I'm interested in doing the retrofit to my car as well, but don't know anything about doing it. Thank you in advance!

be careful if u dont know anything about it and are trying to do it. its a really expensive set of headlights, if you dont feel comfortable, go hit up AckTL05 or JnC.

Stay away from the orion v2s. They are great when they work but have horrible reliability.

One of my halos stopped working correctly, I had to unplug the whole thing. Not worth taking it apart and baking the lights apart to fix the solder.

What's wrong with the stock projectors? Or are you just looking to add the angel eyes?

The TL projectors lenses are not clear and reduce light output. The lenses can be replaced with tsx-r ones which will increase light output by ~10%

I think the correct term is "frosted"
the TL lenses are frosted and replacing them with the clear TSX lens, you get a sharper cut off

^+1

It won't reduce the light output but it scatters due to the "frosting" leaving you with a less sharp cut off

Ya the cutoff if shaper foremost.

I have them installed on my car and they are definitely brighter. The TSX-R lenses being clear allow more light through.

JnC also mentioned it in his thread.
