how do you know if your weather seats work? mine are never cold, i hit the switch by the gear shift to no and the light is orange but no differfece in feel

No cooled seats on tech or lower, just advance package. We just have heated seats with "low" or "high" option.

the button has only two options.. high and low.. not even a COOL function..

That's the Advanced package.. the vented seats switch is on the right, heated on the left in each set of switches for left right seats.

Speaking of the seats, I just got a new TL Advance and I find that the seat seems to move in sections. If I push my head back on the headrest, the lumbar area sticks out a little. If I push my back on the lumbar area, the headrest comes forward towards my head. It's like the entire top part of the seat swivels like a vertical see-saw.
Anyone else notice that?
BTW, I could not live without the ventilated seats. Highly recommended to pay the extra.

I noticed that with the head rest too. I liked the aggressive headrest but didn't like it moving back and then giving me too much lumbar!
