you can try scratch x. give it a few rounds. if it comes out then reapply wax. if it doesn't, then try and see if a detailer might be able to polish that out with a polisher.

if the paint layer is completely gone...and the scratches are deep into the bumper (you can feel the grooves)...body shop.

Happened to my car two days after I bought it. Landscaper drove by my car too close and trimmings from trees and bushes that were hanging out the side of his trailer dragged along the side of my car. I was pissed.
Decided to get my own buffer and went with the Griots Garage version because it was easy to use. It was, but also a pain in the ass. I was never happy with the results from a professional buff job, and I've tried plenty of places with my previous vehicles.

not too long after my mom bought her 08 accord it had scratches like that on it. Used mother's carnauba cleaner wax, and a buffer. Took a few times but it came out excellent. Scratch X did nothing.

Been there, twice.

You can diminish the scratches, but there are too many to touch up. Get it resprayed.

try quixx scratch remover, you can get it at walmart/target. If that doesn't work you probably need a respray.

Honda/Acura's black paint shows so much swirls, I would have the whole car professionally detailed.

a proper bumper respray is gonna cost $600 or so for a full bumper respray. if its just that one area it'll be less probably around $3-400. its all in the prep work and the guy behind the paint gun.

have you tried scratch X 2.0? better yet find a detailer that does paint correction and see what they say. they might be able to polish it out if the bumper isn't gouged.

it just makes it easier with a buffer. It can be done without. Keep rubbing the wax in-takes time.

Had a small scratch like that in the hood of my rdx. Buffed till I thought the I was having a heart attack. It looked better but is still visible. Bottom line, once the scratch is that deep (white) it will never be perfect. You can try that Dr. color chip and polish the clear coat till it gets hot enough to smooth part of it out. Most people would probably not notice or care, but you will always see it and it will drive you nuts. Fix it right.

Same here, I parked behind some motorcycles at work one day and someone caught me on the left front fender, then someone sat something on my hood and dragged it across, and finally someone in my building dinged my door handled an knocked off a nice chunk of paint...he did leave his name and number and has offered to pay for the fix*thumps up*
