Same 2010 question different day
Well folks, I was scheduled to get a 2010 AWD SH about six to eight weeks ago. Unfortunately, a financial settlement and job related issues were delayed. Now things are moving, but I question whether I should pursue a 2010 or go for a 2011. Initially I was going to lease (which would push for the 2011), but now I will purchase. Any thoughts appreciated.

Just wait for now. Even if the 2011 model may not be much different, it will have better resale value than a 2010 model now. Even if it does not have the same incentive as the 2010 does, the difference in resale value probably will offset the difference anyway.
What color combination are you going for? I can just tell you that it's a wonderful car and you will not regret it!!! :-)

the 2011 may have better resale, but its all relative to the price you pay for the car...if you can get a 2011 for the same price you can get a 2010 for then yes, get the 2011...
i was able to get a 2010 sh for over 5k below msrp...i doubt you will be able to pry a 2011 off the dealer for the same price, so you need to do the math and see what is a better over all deal for you...

Another option might be to wait for the 2012 MMC which is supposed to be out in April. The price would be more but the differences may make it worth it. I would think at that point with sales where they are that there would still be enough 2011's and maybe even some 2010's on the lot to compare/negotiate with.

The '11s are going to be essentially unchanged from the '10s. The MMC will come with the 2012 models. These are the spy shots seen on R&T online.
As others have said, you'll get a better deal on a '10 than on a '11, and this might be the way to go if you can find the car you want. End of model year is a great time to buy, but remember your car will essentially be a year old once the '11s hit the showroom. (This is negated a bit if the outgoing model is pretty similar to the new model).
I'd shop around and see what kind of price you can get on a '10. If you find the right car at the right price, go for it. You won't regret buying the SH-AWD!
