Road & Track Comparo...
TL SH-AWD 6MT vs. 335i vs. Audi S4 vs. G37
guess who wins.... BMW? no! say it isn't so! I can't believe another car magazine comparo picked the BMW! I swear, I think BMW must send gift baskets full of crack, free hookers, cash, and more crack to the car mags...
the TL had amazing numbers - it was FASTER arouind the track than the 335i or hte G37 and had the shortest stopping distance. the only car that beat it at the track was the Audi S4 that is priced almost $15k HIGHER as tested.
the TL did have the slowest acceleration out of the test.
despite it's excellent performance they stuck it last.
Hey, I"m not whining, I dont' even known a TL. I've had one as a loaner...but I really like the car. I've driven a 335i and it's nice, but for the money and for reliability, and bang for the buck, I'd take the TL anyday.
this magazine was my "last" one as my subscriptionn has run out..i used to buy these things to pass the time in the crapper...but as everyone is trimming budgets I'm letting my car mag subscriptions go bye bye and honestly, I can't say i'll miss all their whoring articles.
if hyundai suddenly offered whatever BMW offers these guys in way of bribes, the Tiburon woudl suddednly be HOT and WOW and "gotta have it" baby..!! Hyundai needs to put two hot korean whores in teh back of the test car along with a keg of beer and they would beat hte BMW 335 across teh board....
