It is not going to set any code. I installed 921 Philips led bulbs about a year ago and not a single issue, it is a great upgrade. Remember to change the orientation (polarity) of the led bulb if it doesn't light up in the first try. Watch some videos online about how to install led reverse bulbs in any car to have a general idea.

There wont be any codes. Install is really easy. Open the trunk, remove the screws and clips that hold up the carpet on the back of the trunk behind the taillight. Move the carpet back and you will see 3 bolts that connect to the taillight, remove their 3 nuts. Lightly push on the back of the 3 exposed screws to remove the taillight from the car. Rotate the back of the reverse light bulb and pull it out of the housing. Pull out the stock bulb and replace it with the LED bulb. Then put it all back on in the reverse order.

You do realize this is on a 2013 Acura TL SHAWD?

Well that is how I did it on my 2012 Acura TL SH-AWD. I am sure your 2013 is quite similar if not exactly the same.
