Just unhook battery for a few minutes?
Google searches bringing up mostly info on older generations, something about turning key different ways and pushing gas pedal? Guessing none of that applies to new tech packages with push button. Just changed oil for first time right at 7k miles, time to push her harder

well, i unhooked the negative, ran a few errands, so it probably was unplugged for over an hour. Re-connected the battery, started her up.
Had to re-enter the pin for the nav system, and re-position my car, had it facing east instead of north in the driveway. Also my seat memory appears to be gone, the little green light on 1 isn't lit anymore.
Took her for a spin in D, pushing hard. Went on some country roads with hairpin curves and some straights. Transmission definitely different from before, holds on to gears well into 6-7K rpm. Drove for around 30 minutes aggressively - flooring it from stop signs, and keeping the speed around 80mph on country roads. We'll see how she handles the rest of this week.
I normally drive in S with paddles just for the fun factor, but I've got a lot of interstate driving this week and unfortunately S mode downshifting sucks, even with the double down paddle maneuver. The auto is one of the smoothest I've had, but would have probably gotten a manual if one had been available when I was buying, just for the fun factor. Still, after 8 months, I love the car
