Replaced torque converter '09-TLAWD, still feel judder

My 2009 TL AWD torque converter was replaced 3 weeks ago due to the vibration (shudder)at low acceleration 20-40MPH ( 1200 -1600rpm) . However, I still feel lightly judder at low speed sometime. Does anyone have the same issue ?

Rosefresh, I brought my 09' TL SH-AWD in for the software update and I still have the Judder. I brought it back to the dealer and they could not duplicate the issue since it seems to only happen to me on longer trips and not around town...same old story...Still love my ride, but it would be nice to have a solution.

My short term answer...paddleshifters!

Don't get me wrong I feel your pain, a $40k car shouldn't vibrate like a lifted jeep!

I replaced my torque converter in the spring and then the software update came out, so I kinda got things done backwards lol!
What I notice is the very harsh vibration at lower speeds has been eliminated but I continue to have another minor vibration (shudder) when going lightly on and off the gas at certain speeds. I too have resorted to using paddle shifters when it gets annoying like in slow moving traffic. I've asked the dealer several times and they have no response as to why, they keep telling me that they will speak with tech line on the issue but have been waiting on them to call back (BS!!) any ways the way I see it is I have warranty until December 2015 which by then ill have probably traded it in for something else anyways, but agree that a car in this $ range should not feel like this!

I think the letter from Acura Canada said that if you do the software update and still feel the problem, then you shoudl tell them and they may do a physical repair or replacement.

Is your car's TC replaced? and what was the TC part number on the invoice?if How many milleages is your car?
I have not had a chance to bring my car to dealer to check my car again yet. Hopefully, Acura Mfg will have another solution.

Paddle shifting is the only way to truly remedy this. I've been back and fourth with the dealer and had a conversation with my service department manager. They've replaced, repaired, and upgraded (software) yet still see this issue frequently. Sounds like a design flaw on Acura's part and there doesn't seem to be a reliable fix for.

I've got 4 payments left on my lease then the car goes back. Let this be someone else's problem.
