Does the 2012 Acura TL 4dr Sdn Auto SH-AWD Tech come with remote start?

 

No. Proximity key fob and push button start.

 

Acura sells the kit for the remote start for out TL’s

 

I have an OEM Remote Starter when I bough the car used. I love it. It is however, really expensive IMHO.

I have yet to get around to installing it because I thought it was more involved than it actually is. I watched the install video the other day and it really is plug and play, aside from needing to splice into the parking light wires, which is no biggie. The most difficult part is going to be removing the clamshell from around the steering column. I had to take mine off over the summer to replace the turn signal lever and it didn't want to let go, but eventually did. Maybe it will come off easier the second time.
