Hi,

I just recently purchase a used 2010 Acura TL in Ontario, and to this point in its life it has always been a Quebec car, and as such it never had a front licence plate, which is required in Ontario.

So instead of drilling into the bumper I'm looking at the possibility of using a mount through the tow hook on the right-front of the car, and I've seen a few advertised as compatible with a 2010 TL.

Can anyone who is more familiar confirm that this one would likely work for that purpose, it does look correct:


Also if anyone has any better recommendations, or know any shops in Southern Ontario that would carry something like that, that could also be helpful.

The only cars that look OK with off centre license plates are EVO's, GT-R's, Audi's but is' personal preference. In the end, I decided to go for the centre location because the Tow Hook adapter may block the turn signals. This was the same time I installed the Ronjon Grill....
