So in the spirit of black friday/saving money, I will share this with everyone:

I am a huge proponent of Amazon subscribe and save. For those of you that don't know what it is, the program basically lets you subscribe to get certain items ordered and delivered at a regular interval. I do this for all my items in my house that I use at a regular basis with no demand fluctuations... dog food, paper goods, shampoo, deodorant, hair gel, etc.

Recently, Amazon added wiper blades and air filters to the program, so I now get new wipers and a new engine and cabin air filter every 6 months. It's also possible to subscribe for oil filters, oil, and other miscellaneous fluids. Plus, if there are 5 items in the monthly subscribe and save order, there is a 15% discount on everything.

These are the items that I am subscribed to that relate to my 4G. I get them every six months so that I never have a dirty air filter, wipers that don't work, etc.

And also-- I always use the Invisible Hand add-on for Google Chrome. It instantly compares the price of the item that I am buying across hundreds of websites. Amazon almost always ends up being the lowest price retailer and with my amazon prime membership, 2 day shipping is always free.

Why not just replace the rubber on the wiper blade instead?

 

I don't like metal frame windshield wipers because they cause streaking.
