Don't need to fully take out the bumper. Just leave the bottom screws on and you can just loosen up the top part to take out the trim. That's how I did mine.
He used a flathead screwdriver with some then cloth wrapped around it to SLOWLY pry the sucker off the back. I thought that this would break the clips, but everything was fine since he didn't rush it.
I was standing behind him while he did this and it took about 5 min.
If you take your time and wrap up your prying tool, you should be fine.
I did the rear bumper removal and found two things different than the directions show. First off I only had 6 total screws not 8 like the PDF shows. And secondly where was the need for the 10mm socket?
This is good info. But I'm also looking to remove the peices which line the sides of the rear window. Anyone know how to remove those? I'm basically going to paint all the "matte silver" peices so I can't miss those. Thanks in advance.

hi, is there instruction to change the Acura HONDA OEM 2016 RDX-Bumper Trim-Molding Trim Left 71508TX4A51?
I've looked underneath and there are 3 scews holding it in, in addition to a few clips. 2 bottom screws are easily removed but the top screw is very hard and seem like I'd have to remove the rear bumper.
