Reactions you get?

What are some reactions you've gotten with your TL 09 on the road? I've not noticed much since i'm focusing on the road, but my friend next to me said many people were turning around to see the car twice etc while driving on the busy roads ..

Today, I saw two guys in the car behind me today pointing at my car. I couldn't tell what their opinion or re-action was, but most new cars/models draw attention regardless of the manufacturer. I was gawking at the new Maxima the other day, talk about ugly front's? That thing has got a flava flav grill, but the rest was nice.

I think the Maxima is terrible looking... the rear end is a disaster... the TL has definitely grown on me, but each Maxima I see I keep thinking how bad it is... no growth there!

So far, I've definitely gotten some reactions... mostly positive from what I can see... a few "looks cool, great ride" kind of comments... no clearly negative reactions at this point.

So far, I've gotten 3 verbal responses, "is this the new 09 TL, WOW!", "sharp looking car!" and I forget the other one. Definitely getting more attention than my old TL-S.

I like to think that the 4G TL SHs are the real long lost brother of the GTR, not the Maxima.

1st - is this ur car man, its nice! I wouldn't give it to my mom or anyone else.

2nd - by a cop at taco bell, its a sharp looking car!

3rd - its a mean looking car, at a stop light

then countless head turns and pointing.

i was at the gas station and a guy went past me looking at the car and said "really nice car". It took me by surprise because i was concentrating on something else. I had to look around to make sure he was talking to me.

We've had so much negative feedback from members in this forum that when someone in the public says nice car, I have to quickly remind myself that they are most likely not being sarcastic and are sincere.

This is an 'owners' thread so this one should be relatively 'troll' free.

Now I remember the 3rd response, it was another customer that parked next to me at a gas station. He goes, "nice car!" and I was in disbelief for couple seconds before realizing he was sincere.

I saw my first 09 TL on the road the other day, it looks really good.

I haven't seen any SH-AWDs though

The first night I had it, some guy in an SUV was breaking his neck to see the car. I've had countless people turning their heads as I drive by. I also haven't had any negative comments from people on the street.

You'll also start to notice the FWD's have a front long reflector to differentiate from the AWD which is shorter, and also the AWD has a hole or pocket than air can get in the front to cool the brakes down, the FWD is sealed.

All the reactions received thus far have been positive. I play on a dart league and last night was our finals. A couple of players I haven't shot against in several weeks were down and thought I wasn't there because they didn't see either of the BMWs I used to own. Anyway, one picked out the new Acura TL and said he knew that had to be my car. The other one commented on the interior (Umber) color. Both had positive things to say.

The more I see the TL on the roads and on TV (fist punching through board and TL comes out the other side, for example) the more I like the look.

I have even seen a couple 3G owners giving my car the look over. Now I know how women feel when we undress them with our eyes!
