Possible new SH AWD
Hey guys-
I am looking at purchasing a 2010 SH AWD Tech Pack with 83k miles on it. Dealer is asking for $20k and includes "lifetime powertrain warranty"---its from a Hyundai Dealership. I understand that a "good deal" is in the eye of the beholder, but was hoping some of you can chime in and let me know if this on par to what i should be paying or are there better deals to be had. I could probably ask them to not provide the warranty if its worthless....I'm not worried about the 83k as much because I know these babies will drive forever. Thanks for the advice in advance. Here are the details of Warranty
ENGINE: All internally lubricated parts contained within the vehicle's engine, including pistons, piston rings, piston pins, crankshaft and main bearings, connecting rods and rod bearings, camshaft and camshaft bearings, cam followers, timing chain belt and timing gears, guides tensioners, rocker arms, rocker shafts, rocker bushings, cylinder head valves, valve guides, valve lifters valve springs, valve seals, valve retainers, valve seats, push rods, water pump, oil pump oil pump housing, harmonic balancer, oil pan, flywheel, flexplate, timing chain cover, intake and exhaust manifolds, valve covers, engine mounts, engine block, and cylinder heads.*
TRANSMISSION: All internally lubricated parts plus torque converter, vacuum modulator, electronic shift control unity, transmission cooler, transmission mounts, transmission case and housing (if damaged by an internally lubricated part) and transfer case and all its internally lubricated parts.*
DRIVE AXLE: All internally lubricated parts contained within the drive axle, drive axle case, locking hubs, drive shafts, universal joints, constant velocity joints, axle bearings, 4-wheel drive actuator, differential cover, and drive axle housing (if damaged by an internally lubricated part).*

Almost all CPO come with lifetime power train and when you drill down into it, it's mainly the motor and parts that shouldn't fail. Chesapeake Acura had a lifetime warranty on the engine in mine and free oil changes for the life of the car.
I do get the oil changed there since it's free. They also give me free inspections for the life of the car. I have never seen another manufacturer offer it on a car they don't make but if they service the car then no problems. Only reason I mention is since mine is through acura it's good across the US. Don't know if yours will transfer if you ever move

Its just there thing ..this dealership is "Home of the Lifetime Warranty". They do include it in the price Im sure and the actual thing is that I dont live all that close to them(almost 200 miles away)...
