Possible to get '12 TL-SHAWD

Hi,

I used to own '99 TL and got totaled it and leased '10 Mercedes C300.

Now I realized leasing C300 was one of my biggest mistakes I have made and want to go back to Acura TL Community.

That being said, what would be my best option?

My lease is end on 5/16/13 so have 11 months more. Should I wait until the lease end and purchase '13 TL?

I was looking into do the lease buy-out at Carmax because I heard they do pretty good job to do that.

Lastly, I live in Los Angeles, CA. Which dealer would give me a good deal? If anybody lives in LA area and bought TL for a good deal, please share with me.

Thank you,

I think your best option would be to wait until the lease if over, then get into a TL. If you are trying to wait until a the new body style TL is released and you plan on purchasing, I would stongly recommend waiting until the 2nd year that the new body style has been produced to purchase. If you are leasing I don't think it matters much.

In SoCal, I got mine from Norm Reeves in Mission Viejo. Best prices at least in OC, and no sales pressure.

Out of curiosity, what makes you want to get rid of the C300?

I plan on purchasing on next vehicle, but I don't have any ride until 2013 once I return C300. I would wait too if there is an option to do it so I can go with 2014 TL.

I get 16 MPG City/High mix which is really horrible.

On top of that, with this bad gas mileage, the response time from the gas pedal is like a turtle. It takes about 2 seconds to accelerate after I press the gas pedal. Also, my '99 TL with Navi even had a lot more gadgets than my current '10 C300. I can go on but I will stop here.

I've always been struck by how weak a car the current MB300/350s are for the price. As the OP said, slow, devoid of many features and not really a handler. OK at 25K, not so much at 35K+.

+1. Early lease terminations are rarely a good idea. You should be able to get a good deal on a leftover 12 or new 13 by then. Or hold on the the C a little longer (via lease extension?) and wait for the 14's.
