Plug change...

Changed the spark plugs two weeks ago. These Densos were put in the car at 70k mi. Looking at them, they all look pretty normal for the most part. Except for No. 6 (not sure if that is cylinder 6, it's marked on the box looking from the front of the car.) Anyway, that plug looked a little nasty. Looking online it says that it is what iridium plugs look like when they have been burning oil. O'rly...

My question is, could only one cylinder be my oil consumption culprit? I almost want to pull my back O2 sensor.

Would love a spark plug guru's input.

I don't believe those are the right spark plugs to put in, there was a thread about that in the 3G section as those are for the Australian market if you got them online and have an extra ground electrode or something of the nature.

The Denso or the NGK that are in it now? The Boxes are from the plugs that are in it now. Either way. Both sets came from dealers. Park Acura and Bernardi. So if there is something wrong... I'd love to know for sure. Also... Why would spark be different in Australia than here? Fuel I'm assuming, or something else?

I think what you are seeing in the third picture is part of the A from the box behind the plug. It appears at a glance to be a second ground electrode.
