Pedal commander

Hello
I have watched several videos and read reviews on PC. Has anyone install it on a 4G TL Type SHAWD? All reviews are positive, but I cannot find out what it does to throttle response?

I have not head of them before. I have only seen "Sprint Booster" in the AZ forums.

Very similar to the Sprint Booster that I have on my TL.
Love it, switch it off and the Car feels sluggish off the Line. While it does nothing for 0-60 Performance, it make the Car feel lively.

Some cars have terrible Throttle response eg the C line Benz, this works great on the Benz as well. I also installed a similar Unit ( Soler Throttle Controller ) on my Vette since the C7 is noted for an off the line stumble, that combined with a Soler Ported Throttle Body took care of the issue on the C7. This is a well documented fact.

Note, if you have the KTuner then you can adjust throttle response without the need of the Sprint Booster, Throttle Commander or any similar signal amplifier.

I should also mention that many DBW systems suffer from this issue.
Systems before DBW had a mechanical linkage so when the accelerator pedal is pressed you got corresponding reaction, 1:1 ratio if you will.
Many people feel that simply pressing the accelerator harder will give you the same effect as a Signal Amplifier, that is not the case. The pre programmed stock throttle curve is what it is, pressing the accelerator harder does not change it.
It can only be changed via a Tune or by way of a signal amplifier bringing it closer to the 1:1 ratio provided by a mechanical linkage.

so actually it does not make pedal more responsive. in our cars at 100% throttle pedal down the throttle body open around 70 degrees. with the PC, it opens at 90degrees. so more volume of air

Just tuning the pedal for responsiveness, not eco-friendliness. I made myself a complete flashing of the ECU, disabling the EGR and removing the speed limit.

I used Tactrix Openport 2.0
My catalyst began to slowly crumble, the engine J37 does not have cast iron liners, therefore, in order to save the cylinder walls without replacing the catalyst, I removed the EGR work from the engine control program in ECU.

I have the Sprint Booster and it definitely makes a huge difference. You can easily tell the difference in throttle response between when it is turned on or turned off.

I have a pedal commander on my 2010 sh-awd and i'm very pleased with it. Significantly improves throttle response. Sport+ can be unusable in the city though haha.
