Painting grill and rear trim

Hey guys im thining about painting my front grill on my '12 like drive4show and a couple other guys that painted the center piece. Also want to paint my rear trim and thinking of maybe going with a flat matte black instead of gloss black? i think the flat black trim piece will match the taillights well once i get them smoked with a matte black bezel as well as matching the black plastic between the exhaust. thoughts??

I would go with the gloss black as well. Are you going to have the dealer paint it. They did a great job on my front grill on my 2010.

i tend to like the trim piece on the back as is. I hear a lot of talk of people considering painting it, but i don't think i have actually seen a 2012 pic with it painted on CBP. is there a thread that shows one that way?

The grill should definitely be painted to match the car though. With the chrome framing the gloss black on the grill, it really looks flows well with the chrome on the bottom part of the front bumper on the 2012s, IMO. I do get compliments from other TL owners. Some seem to think that is how Acura is producing them now, and they all seem to like the look better.

post pics when you get er done please!!

Here's mine I did over the weekend. I also installed black emblems which I installed them later on that day.

I have my rear piece painted black -- could not be happier. Pics here:
