Paint color question

Paint color question
Ok, I'm trying to decide what to purchase when my lease on my 2007 TL ends. I'll hopefully get the new TL but unsure of color. My current car is WDP and we all know the paint mismatch on the WDP. Aside from black, what is the color of the new generation with the lease paint variance between the metal and plastic? Thanks!

From what I've seen, they all have color matching issues. It's not perfect by any means, but you really have to look at a stopped TL to notice. Rolling by with speed is difficult to see. The CBP, Grigio and WDP have the worst matching in my opinion. If you add the OEM kit, it just gets worse.

I am very much interested in this topic as well as I just ordered an 2010. I love the black but I have seriuos OCD so I know it would drive me completely nuts.
I would love to see a pic of a Grigio as I am leaning toward that color, but I really the white as well. Also, hydr0, what interior did you go with?
Thanks!

Just imagine how difficult it can be to be consistent with multi-coat applications in environments with variable temp, humidity, body surface temp, paint mix, etc.
I was probably lucky, but I had 10 of the AWD Techs to look over in the back lot. Production dates ranged from 11/08 to 3/09. I didn't see a single paint flaw in any of them. What I did see were shade variances that bmode details, but they changed as I walked around the cars. I attribute that to body curve and light refraction.
My suggestion is to see the end product on the lot in various light conditions.

here's my grigio
they're bad pictures for this considering the reflections but i haven't seen too much color variance
although sometimes i think the seams have alightly different angles to each other because i can see some lighting differences at times
